GA1J1N
Did this piece during my uni break, it’s intended to accompany my friend Beau’s new track “GA1J1N”.
Pokemon: Indigo League
This was a university project, to create a title sequence for one show in the style of another. My group chose Pokémon in the style of Avatar: the Last Airbender and I was tasked with designing and animating the Pokémon. The human characters were animated by Lilith Schuett, the backgrounds were painted by Jessica Jury, the editing and special effects were done by Kiah Gearing, and the voiceover was read by Arwen Langford.
Lipsync 1
This clip was my first ever lipsync video, I used an audio clip from the film freeguy which was the 11 second club challenge at the time. unfortunately the free rig that I used was a little janky which resulted in the clipping on his clothes.
Gwen Kick
This clip was made for an early university project. The task was to animate a complex human motion, I chose the Gwen rig at random and felt like the 540 kick would be a fun motion to animate. looking back on it I’d like to take another shot at it as I think, that the timing could be improved and that I could do a lot better now.
Catch
This was my first picture with a full background. I drew this before starting at uni and it came about simply because I really liked the rocket girl I’d recently drawn and wanted to draw her in a more dramatic situation.
You’re in here with me!
I drew this for my friends daughter Arwen, she’s an extremely talented young artist who often shares her work with me via her dad Matt. This comic was to encourage her when she caught Covid, however it took me so long to draw that she’d recovered by the time I’d finished
Rocket Girl
I made this piece before starting at uni in order to practice lighting, so I wanted a character firing a gun in low sunlight to get light from multiple angles. other than that it’s basically the most archetypically anime thing that I could come up with
